With all due respect, doctor, I'd rather be conscious. I'd like to be able to actually tell where I am, not just be all loopy from the medicine.

[But he does think about it for a moment.] Do you have anything for the pain that won't knock me out?

I have ideas, [ he nods. ] At least, I have general painkillers which should hopefully lessen symptoms. Shall I head to infirmary to prescribe them?
